This work explores a poetics of the body, a language of gesture, a space beyond words. I am interested in the way that a single moment, the moment of suspension, becomes charged with significance; a fleeting metaphor for that which escapes us, that which can barely be grasped. The subtle language of the body destabilizes. The moment of tension presents itself, withdraws, leaving behind the experience of dissonance and disbelief that surfaces in a space beyond words.
